Job Description Summary
JOB SUMMARY : The Dual Credit Coordinator works closely with students, parents, and high school counselors to build dual credit enrollment by assessing the needs of students and school districts. This position coordinates with the TSU First Year Experience Executive Director and colleges, implements strategies for participation, provides registration support services, and assists in the creation of Dual Credit Summer programming / orientation and administrative support for students and faculty. The coordinator also serves as the Dual Credit Academic Advisor, discussing how courses fit into degree plans and communicating with students and school contacts when instructors submit an early alert for a dual credit student. Additionally, the coordinator plays a key role in streamlining the transition of dual credit students into their First Year Experience advising team, ensuring that students receive comprehensive support as they progress into higher education.
