Cardiac Echo Technologist

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Cardiac Echo Technologist in our Cardiology Department at our main hospital in Bolivar, Missouri. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities, and 1 residential care facility. About the department : The Cardiology Department has two ultrasound rooms, one stress lab, and one procedure room. Patient load includes outpatient, in-patient, and ER.

A typical day includes : Performing routine diagnostic abdomen, OB, pelvic and small part ultrasound examinations; also performing vascular, carotid, venous, and arterial Doppler exams.

• Prepares patients for examinations
• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform examinations including TEE procedures, stress echo, and other procedures as ordered
• Reviews images for quality and adequate coverage of areas needed
• Accurately records patient data and test outcomes

This position is PRN days, working up to 10 hours every 2 weeks.
