Job descriptionWork in a short-term acute care hospital in the Labor and Delivery unit Night shifts, 3x12 hours (18 : 30-07 : 00) Unit has 9 beds with an average daily census of 2-4 1 : 1 nurse-to-patient ratios Care for high-risk antepartum patients from 32 weeks gestation and above Circulate C-sections and attend deliveries, including catch and care for newborns Two-bed triage area and responsibility to draw own phlebotomy Must work every third weekend Floating required within scope, including possible float to other local sites Must be able to circulate C-sections and manage high-risk deliveries Nurses are responsible for phlebotomy as part of their routine duties Hospital provides blue scrubs Free employee parking available in designated areas No on-call requirements Return to the health system as a traveler requires a 1-year gap after permanent employment No more than 7 days requested time off allowed within each 13-week contract, and no time off allowed during the first week of orientation Modules and training are completed during orientation Holiday coverage may be required according to unit needs Active MO or compact state RN license required Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience Current BLS and NRP certifications required AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred Epic EMR experience required First-time travelers are not accepted Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility Pending state license is accepted for application High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
