Schedule : 5 / 2 | Monday–Friday | 7 : 30 am – 4 : 30 pm | No on-call / No overtime

Position Overview

The Field Operator (Maintenance Tech) II supports day-to-day production operations, equipment monitoring, and maintenance coordination across the Midland / Midkiff area. This position focuses on safe and efficient operation of field facilities and wells, applying sound technical and safety practices to optimize production and reduce downtime.

Ideal candidates will have 2–3 years of oilfield or production operations experience , be computer savvy , and demonstrate strong teamwork and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily operational objectives, including equipment checks, housekeeping, and safety compliance.
• Monitor wells and process equipment to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
• Identify and implement corrective actions to optimize system performance.
• Support maintenance activities in alignment with preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
• Perform simple maintenance and troubleshooting tasks as needed.
• Participate in daily toolbox and safety meetings.
• Maintain accurate logs of operational events, deviations, and field observations.
• Collect samples for lab analysis and complete field testing as required.
• Communicate effectively across work teams and provide updates during shift changes.
• Oversee and coordinate 2–3 person field crews during operations or maintenance activities.
• Assist with permitting and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
