Build One‑of‑a‑Kind Machines That Feed the World
Picture your day : you arrive on the floor, review the latest blueprints for a custom food processing system, gather hand and power tools, and begin bringing precision‑engineered components to life. You’ll align frames with a hoist, torque fasteners to spec, verify tolerances with careful measurements, and collaborate with teammates to wire control assemblies. By the end of your shift, a complex subassembly has moved from drawing to reality—accurate, clean, and production‑ready.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 6 : 00 a.m.–2 : 30 p.m. or 2 : 00 p.m.–10 : 30 p.m. (based on business needs)
What you’ll do
- Assemble machinery components and subassemblies from blueprints, schematics, work orders, and bills of materials
- Interpret engineering drawings to plan build steps and verify fit and function
- Position, fit, and align parts manually and with hoists, cranes, or forklifts
- Use a full range of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment to build to specification
- Assist with wiring machinery and control assemblies as needed
- Confirm accuracy with precise measurements and quality checks
- Follow all safety and operating procedures within the assembly area
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and efficient
What you bring
2+ years of mechanical assembly experience (industrial equipment or machinery manufacturing preferred)Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructionsProficiency with hand and power tools; experience operating hoists, forklifts, or cranesBasic electrical / wiring experience is a plusStrong attention to detail, quality, and safety standardsPhysical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsHigh School diploma or GEDWilling to submit to drug and background screeningAdditional proficiencies that help you excel
