Senior Logistics Manager

Description : NSI requires a Senior Logistics Manager for the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) Avionics and Support Equipment Production Divisions. Performs various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability and maintainability programs and information systems. Works on logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as : technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources; development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans; systems acquisition requirements analysis; budgetary or financial analysis and control; life cycle cost analysis and control; weapons systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility; Integrated Product Support (IPS) and Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program test and evaluation planning and execution; and, IPS and R&M program management analysis. Collects, compiles, analyzes, investigates, researches, and applies logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information.

Desired Logistics Support Requirements :

Minimum of four years of experience analyzing logistics and maintenance in the performance of maintenance planning across the full spectrum of lifecycle planning; design interface, maintenance planning, and sustainment engineering

Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university

o Additional 10 years of experience may be substituted for degree

Data analytics using Microsoft suite tools

o Proficiency in Excel using VBA / advanced formulas and Word macros, experience with detailed research and data mining, problem-solving by "following the data"

Familiarity with LSA, LPD, Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), and other Supportability Analyses

Experience using NAVAIR technical publications

Decipher the logistics involved concerning Technical Engineering Instructions (TEIs).

Experience in Maintenance Planning, logistics support / supportability analysis

Extensive knowledge of the Navy / Marine Corps supply systems.

Demonstrated effective oral and written communication

Location : On site FRCSE, Jacksonville, FL

Education : BS or BA degree.

Experience : Six (6) years of DoD acquisition logistics experience in conducting analytical studies applicable to Integrated Product Support (IPE) Elements and demonstrated ability to conduct studies, analysis, or evaluations of DoD weapon Systems / equipment OR an AA or AS with ten (10) years of relevant experience may be substituted.

Security Clearance : Secret Clearance is required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
