Part Time Job Coach
Wage : $20.00 per hour
Schedule is primarily Monday through Friday ranging from morning to evening hours depending on the need.
Position Summary :
As a Job Coach you will provide integrated transportation and employment support services to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and success in the workforce. This role ensures timely and professional transportation to employment sites while also delivering on-site coaching and skill development. By offering consistent, person-centered support, the specialist helps individuals build and maintain the skills necessary for long-term employment in the community. The position contributes to participant satisfaction and prepares individuals for future vocational opportunities through reliable, compassionate, and goal-oriented service.
Education and Experience :
- High school graduation and at least 18 years old
- Prefer experience in working with people with disabilities
Required Skills / Abilities :
Ability to pass drug test.Ability to pass criminal background test.Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities with little supervision.Must present a professional image and positive attitude.Physical Requirements :
Ability to drive bussettes / vans, support people with getting on and off, operating a wheelchair lift, securing wheelchairs as needed.Work indoors, outdoors, office and shop environments, subject to driving to conduct work, subject to noise from equipment operation.Duties / Responsibilities :
Transportation Support
Provide safe, timely, and reliable transportation for individuals with disabilitiesMaintain vehicle cleanliness, safety, and readiness for daily use.Monitor and report any transportation-related issues or delays that may impact participant success.Ensure compliance with all transportation policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.Vocational Coaching
Assist individuals in developing work-related skills necessary for obtaining and maintaining employment.Provide on-site support and coaching at various community employment locations.Model appropriate workplace behavior and help individuals adapt to workplace expectations.Monitor progress and provide feedback to individuals and relevant team members.Individualized Support
Deliver person-centered services tailored to each individual's employment goals and support needs.Encourage independence and self-advocacy in the workplace.Collaborate with employers, support teams, and families to ensure successful job placements and retention.Documentation and Reporting
