JOB SUMMARY :

The Administrative Coordinator for the Growing Our Own (GOO) Program plays a pivotal role in supporting the recruitment and development of future educators from within our high school student population. This position is responsible for coordinating outreach and engagement with high schools, tracking student progress from enrollment through college, and facilitating entry into the VCU Teacher Apprentice Program. Additionally, the coordinator oversees the National Board Certification Program for PWCS teachers, supporting both initial certification and renewal. This role aligns with national best practices for building sustainable teacher pipelines and mirrors similar roles in other districts.
