In this role you will manage and grow Teladoc Health's relationship with major insurance companies (health plan payers) while building strategic relationships within your account base, across a matrix of roles and areas of expertise, including executive-level personnel. You will have the opportunity to expand Teladoc Health's reach within your accounts, driving revenue growth, product expansion and market development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Increase Teladoc Health market share by prospecting and identifying new opportunities within your account base
  • Develop quarterly reports that enable you to use data to construct a powerful story that defines Teladoc Health s value proposition, for presentation to executive-level clients
  • Develop an operating calendar, detailed account plan / forecast and account planning / mapping process
  • Work closely with internal partners including product, clinical, data science, implementation, reporting, legal and finance personnel to deliver on Teladoc Health s side of the strategic roadmap
  • Maximize, drive and achieve revenue and margin goals while staying within the allocated budget
  • Manage and deliver on issue resolution and customer satisfaction within your accounts
  • Demonstrate a broad comprehension of the customer s needs, market trends, industry challenges, major players, relevant products and technologies

Supervisory Responsibilities : No

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience within the health plan payer's space
  • A proven track record of success with complex and strategic account management
  • Strong project management skills, with a demonstrable ability to corral and manage details in a fast-paced, fluid environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience advising, presenting to and persuading senior corporate personnel
  • A bachelor's degree (BS / BA)
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to travel for work
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 - 3 years of experience with Federal Government / Military Healthcare
  • Experience transforming account productivity from volume-based to value-based results
  • Enthusiasm for working collaboratively with highly talented professionals
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Start-up experience desirable
  • Technology and / or professional services experience a plus
  • Ideally, a master's degree in public health (not required)
  • Required license or credential needed to perform job : N / A

    The above qualifications, knowledge, experience, and / or background are expected but not required for this role.

    Travel : 10%

    The travel percentage reflects an estimate and is subject to change dependent on business needs.

    The base salary range for this position is$90,000 - $110,000 . In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here : Teladoc Health Benefits 2025 .Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
