Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a night shift assignment requiring Level 1 trauma experience and EPIC proficiency.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital-based MRI unit serving trauma and general patient populations
  • Night shift schedule : Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6 : 30 PM to 7 : 00 AM
  • Level 1 trauma center experience is required
  • Floating to other units or campuses may be required based on census needs, within the scope of competency
  • Uses EPIC EMR system with at least one year of prior experience required
  • Contract length options range from 13 to 20 weeks, primarily for holiday coverage
  • Candidates must work at least two of the three major holidays to be eligible for holiday coverage contracts
  • Time off between December 26 and December 31 is not permitted
  • Applicants must live at least 50 miles from the contracted campus to be eligible; those living 50.0-99.9 miles away are subject to a 10% rate reduction, while those living 100+ miles away are eligible for the full travel rate
  • Scrub color or dress code details will be communicated at assignment
  • First-time travelers will be considered

  • Current BLS certification is required
  • Minimum of one year MRI technologist experience in a trauma Level 1 setting
  • At least one year of EPIC EMR experience is required
  • Two professional references required for consideration
  • License required if applicable
