Welding School Admin Functional Support 2

Location : Newport News, Virginia, United States

The Role

Performs variety of activities in support of functional areas such as finance, purchasing, or human resources or for a specific project / business / technical unit. Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources. Compiles, reviews and analyzes data. Uses software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations. May design processes to enhance work flow. Provides data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures.

Main responsibilities include :

• Submitting CUAS's for all New Instructors
• Prepare and process student test records (NN 1429s)
• Review of students transcript and paperwork for LX records (Grinder Safety, Exit Interview etc.)
• Maintain the inventory of office supplies
• Workflow for students
• Perform and Upload Vision test into LX
• Monitor and Updates Org chart
• Records Coordinator
• Provides data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures.
• Prepare paperwork package for New Hires
• Backup DSR (Department Security Representative)

Must Have

High School / GED and 2 years of additional education and / or experience

Nice to Have

Familiarization with welding qualifications

Experience with record coordination
