Days / Eves / Nights Rotate & EOW - 36hrs.

RESPONSIBLE FOR CARDIAC MONITORING, CARDIAC DRIPS & READING TELE STRIPS 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

1. Unit Name : Float Pool RN (must be willing to Float between 8 different units).

2. Brief Unit Description : Float throughout the hospital to all Med / Surg Tele areas (Davenport 5, Davenport 7, Davenport 8, Davenport 9, ED, PH6 / 7, Pingree 4, & Overflow).

3. Experience Required : Two years of acute care hospital experience.

4. Skill Sets Required : Telemetry monitoring including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours. TR Band experience. Must be able to perform Cardiac Drips and Reading Tele Strips.

5. Clinician to Patient Ratio : Days & Eves up to 5 : 1. Nights up to 6 : 1.

6. Patient Population : Care for ED border patients; medication nurse in the acute mental health unit, and care for non-vented patients who are transfer ready in the ICU.

7. Bed Count : 371.

8. Census : Units range from 8 to 41 beds.

9. EMR (Charting System) : EPIC.

10. Certifications Required : Current Massachusetts RN License. BLS.
