  • Unit : Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown\n
  • Shift : 12 Hour Days (06 : 30-19 : 00)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 3 / 2025 – End : 2 / 2 / 2026)\n
  • Weekend Requirement : Every Other / As Needed\n
  • Call & Float : As Needed\n
  • Electronic Health Record : Meditech\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1570 - $1680\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active RN license eligible to practice in Texas\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Progressive Care / Stepdown nursing experience\n
  • Certifications required : ACLS, BLS, HWC, NIH (must be obtained prior to start)\n
  • Ability to provide clinical support to adult, geriatric, and pediatric patient populations\n
  • Professional demeanor and strong communication skills\n
  • Ability to float to other nursing units as needed\n
  • MedSurg experience preferred\n

  • Deliver high-quality patient care in the Progressive Care Unit\n
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress\n
  • Administer medications and treatments per physician orders\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes\n
  • Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery processes\n
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards\n
