Radar Repairer Job Description As a Radar Repairer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing surveillance radar equipment. This role involves inspecting, testing, and adjusting system components and equipment used to detect enemy artillery and mortar rounds.
This position requires a strong understanding of electronics and computer systems, as well as the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements You must be a U.S. citizen.
You must be between 17 and 34 years old.
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
You must meet specific tattoo guidelines.
You must have no major law violations.
You must have no medical concerns.
Testing and Certifications You will receive 36 nationally recognized certifications.
You will complete 10 weeks of basic training.
You will complete 37 weeks of advanced individual training.
You must score at least a 107 on the ASVAB Electronics (EL) test.
Alternatively, you can score at least a 102 on the ASVAB Electronics (EL) test or a 90 on the ASVAB Skilled Technical (ST) test.
