ICU Nursing Job Details Location : Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 (Upstate New York ICU nursing jobs) Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Start Date : November 3, 2025 End Date : January 31, 2026 Duration : 13-week contract Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM) Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed Schedule : Every other weekend and holiday required Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,880 - $2,020 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active New York State RN license (NY nursing jobs) At least 2 years of recent ICU experience required. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification Proficiency with hypothermia protocols, balloon pumps, and pulmonary artery lines EPIC charting experience required Must be available to work through the holiday season Must pass an on-site, closed-book, timed ECG exam (study materials provided) Cannot reside in the following NY counties : Warren, Washington, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Schenectady, Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, Ulster, Albany Facility physical and flu vaccination required (documentation needed 10 days before start) ICU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality critical care nursing to ICU patients Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using EPIC electronic health records Administer medications, manage ventilators, and operate advanced life support equipment Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Respond to emergencies and provide advanced cardiac and life support Educate patients and families on treatment plans and ongoing care Maintain compliance with facility policies and New York state nursing regulations Experience the best of upstate New York while making a difference in critical care nursing.
