Registration / Disclosure Desk Processor
The Registration / Disclosure Desk Processor is responsible to monitor the overall registration / disclosure process from start to finish, while also providing accurate and appropriate disclosures to customers within the allotted amount of time while ensuring Northwest policies and procedures and regulatory requirements are met. Essential functions include ensuring compliance with Northwest policies and procedures, federal / state regulations, government sponsored entities (GSEs), agencies (FHA; VA; USDA), third party investors, and vendors. The role also involves maximizing all technology tools available, ensuring total data / document integrity, monitoring optimal blue or pricing automation for lock requests, confirming or sending eConsent for all registered loans once loan is available for disclosure, monitoring encompass pipelines for all mortgage channels for timely disclosure preparation and delivery to borrowers, and ensuring compliance and avoiding monetary implications. Additionally, the position requires ensuring delivery of disclosures for those borrowers who do not agree to electronically receive loan documents using mail service approved by Northwest to ensure delivery within the required timeframe. The role also involves retrieving documents once eConsent / eDisclosures have been electronically signed and returned, as applicable, ordering flood zone determinations and delivering required disclosures as needed, processing change of circumstance requests and re-disclosures, inputting NCDD information and uploading forms, as applicable, avoiding departmental non-payroll costs by disclosing accurate costs on all loan estimates, recommending improvements to procedures, and service / delivery enhancements, monitoring GFE and APR variances pipeline, and working with the team to avoid unnecessary costs. The role also includes submitting appraisals to underwriting for review and delivering to borrower(s), as applicable, navigating Microsoft Office software, computer applications, and software specific to the department in order to maximize technology tools and gain efficiency, and working as part of a team.
Qualifications : High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred. 2 - 6 years experience in the mortgage industry or real estate field preferred. 2 - 6 years customer service experience and administrative experience preferred. Knowledge of regulatory guidelines, proven organizational skills, and a team player.
