As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer at an education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your routine patrols and visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrols. What You'll Do

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the education location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting in maintaining order and supporting the educational environment.

Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings and the perimeter of the location to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure atmosphere for students, staff, and visitors.

Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe for unusual or suspicious behavior, reporting concerns according to established protocols.

Offer assistance and guidance to students, staff, and visitors as needed, supporting a welcoming and orderly atmosphere.

Collaborate with Allied Universal management, local law enforcement, and / or emergency personnel as required during incidents or emergencies on the property.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
