Job Responsibilities

Team Leadership Manage and support a team of licensed plumbers and apprentices, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations

Daily Operations Oversight Coordinate daily schedules, dispatching, and job assignments to ensure efficient use of time and resources

Project Management Oversee plumbing jobs from start to finish, ensuring high-quality service, safety compliance, and timely completion

Technical Expertise Provide guidance on complex plumbing issues and support the team with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and installations

Customer Satisfaction Ensure customer needs are met with professionalism, timely communication, and high-quality workmanship

Training & Development Implement ongoing training programs to maintain technical excellence and ensure licensing / certification requirements are met

Quality Control Conduct job site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company standards and local codes

Inventory & Equipment Management Monitor plumbing materials, tools, and fleet to maintain readiness and reduce downtime

Reporting & Communication Collaborate with office staff and senior leadership to report on performance, challenges, and business needs

CRM & Software Use Utilize Service Titan or similar platforms to manage job progress, documentation, and team efficiency

Qualifications

Plumbing Experience 10+ years of hands-on plumbing experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role

Licensing Valid plumbing license in the State of New York or ability to obtain one

Leadership Skills Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive work environment

Customer-Centric Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and staff

Technical Knowledge Deep understanding of residential and commercial plumbing systems, codes, and safety practices

Organized & Detail-Oriented Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate documentation

Tech Savvy Comfortable using CRM systems like Service Titan and mobile job management apps

Driver's License Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
