Metal Building Installer - Per Diem Offered

Trillium Construction is now seeking Metal Building Installers for a long-term Naval Base Project in Norfolk, VA!

Trillium is looking to hire several Metal Building Installers that are proficient bolt up, connect work, and torch cutting. Structural welding would be a bonus. Candidates must also have previous experience installing and trimming out insulated metal panels for a pre-engineered metal building. Will be rigging the panels into place using vacuum lifts. Will be screwing, leveling, and trimming panels into the steel girts from manlifts / scissor lifts. The job is on a Naval Base in Norfolk, VA.

Shift will all be first shift starting at 6 : 30 AM and will be working 55 hours per week, typically working 6 days a week. Pay is $48.18 / hour as this is a prevailing wage job. Per diem will be $100 / days worked for those that qualify. This is a long-term job as the work could last until 2026!!! The job will be welding and connecting beams, steel, and modules that were shipped to the base and need to be re-done. The work will be installed for a new refueling complex in the shipyard.

Must be a US Citizen or Naturalized Citizen to get on base!!! Candidates must be able to pass military background check and drug screen. Must have all ironworking tools, and wear PPE to go with. Must have reliable transportation to and from the site.
