Counseling Services of Southern Minnesota has provided mental health services as a community-based agency since 1997. Our highly skilled, passionate, and caring professionals provide psychotherapy, psychological assessment, rehabilitative skills for adults and children, and clinical consultation to community entities.
CSSM is looking for an ARMHS Program Supervisor / Outpatient Therapist. We are acceptingapplications from qualified candidates. Qualified candidates will hold a Masters degree in a behavioral health science field (social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy) and be independently licensed as a LPCC, LICSW, or LMFT.

This position will provide Clinical Supervision of the ARMHS Mental Health Practitioners and provide Outpatient therapy.
Education or training : Independently licensed mental health professional in Minnesota and experience with adults with mental illness
Duties :
Monitor timeliness of submission of Diagnostic Assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans
Oversee the identification of changes in individual recipient strategies, revise the plan, and communicate treatment instructions and methodologies as appropriate to ensure that treatment is implemented correctly
Review and sign off on progress notes and treatment plans assuring compliance with regulation and that services were medically necessary / appropriate and within the scope of practice for the practitioner
Coordinate assignment of caseloads with the Intake Department
Lead scheduled supervisory meetings at least one time per month for each ARMHS practitioner
Be available and provide consultation as needed
Participate in the staff evaluation process by completing the evaluation from within the designated deadline and by attending the evaluation meeting
Promote professional growth of ARMHS practitioners
Complete new employee orientation by completing the orientation checklist
Offer flexible case consultation as requested
Complete prior authorizations within 5 days of notification
Facilitate ARMHS meetings monthly
Monitor the need to provide in-vivo supervision and provide as needed
Review recipient surveys
Be knowledgeable of cultural differences and affects on service provision
Provide supervision of the ARMHS Lead Mental Health Practitioner
Provide ongoing assessment of the ARMHS programs needs and work closely with the Director of Rehabilitative Services to ensure compliance with the rules, regulations, and DHS guidelines that govern ARMHS services
Model service practices which : respect the recipient, include the recipient in planning and implementation of the individual treatment plan, recognize the recipients strengths, collaborate and coordinate with other involved parties and providers
Participate in the agency application for ARMHS Recertification (approximately every 3 years) with the Director of Rehabilitative Services
