Representative, Sales - Ocular
Responsibilities
- Aches sales performance goals as specified in the sales / quota plan.
- Define and identify key market opportunities, implement marketing strategies and effectively implement sales direction to penetrate existing accounts and gain new customers.
- Successfully complete sales training and continually stay updated on competitors and market dynamics by participating in corporate updates and ongoing training.
- Present to individuals and large groups of customers on all products and applicable company programs.
- Develop territory business plan to ensure achievement of monthly revenue goals and overall sustainable long term growth; coordinate with Regional Sales Director to adjust plans and address potential sales issues in a timely manner to meet monthly and quarterly quotas.
- Conduct all job functions in a manner that promotes a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Promote positive team relationships and maintain open communication with Regional Director, Marketing, Clinical, Reimbursement, Customer Care, and Sr. Management to achieve corporate goals and objectives.
- Attend industry conferences as needed.
- Work within assigned expense budget.
- Ensure all activities align with BioTissue corporate policies.
- Collaborate with Marketing to provide field intelligence on market trends and changes; work with Marketing on new programs as needed.
Key Qualifications
Knowledge of Ophthalmology preferred.Proven success selling into ophthalmic and medical optometry clinics, ASCs, Hospitals, and Academic Medical Centers.Previous experience in integrating treatment protocols within eye care practices.Grit, passion, goal-orientated and a positive attitude are non-negotiable.Demonstrated history of collaboration and leadership within a team.Position Expertise / Qualifications
Degree / Diploma Obtained : Bachelors - Business Administration, Science, Medical, or related field.Minimum Years Of Experience
5 years Outside sales in the medical device, ophthalmic / eyecare, biotechnology or tissue segment.5 years in high growth organizations building market share.Skills & Abilities
Excellent communication skills (oral / written).High energy, flexible, results oriented individual.Excellent organizational skills.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding territory and company sales goals, with broad product knowledge and business acumen, and ability to educate customers.Courteous, friendly, and helpful to customers and team members.Ability to analyze markets, plan sales strategies and effectively present scientific and clinical data to physicians and staff.Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving ability.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.About BioTissue & Our Culture
