Job Description

We are looking for a Part-Time Security Officer. This role would be responsible for ensuring the safety of people and property of Saint Meinrad Archabbey. The role would be around 16 hours a week with the flexibility of 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekends.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Assume overall responsibility for the safety and security of designated areas
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents promptly and according to policy.
  • Directs and participates in rendering aid at the scene of emergencies.
  • Patrol designated areas
  • Responsible for transporting money from Guest Services to Business Office.
  • Responsible for the daily locking / unlocking of Monet Cassino.
  • Investigate disturbances. Warn / cite persons of rule infractions or violations. Detain and call State Police / Sheriff when necessary.
  • Assist guests, students, monks, and co-workers

What We're Looking For :

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Possess a valid driver's license and clean MVR
  • Ability to handle difficult situations
  • Ability to complete First Aid, CPR, and AED training
