Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Support students communication development in a dynamic K-12 educational setting as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). This full-time, onsite contract position offers the opportunity to work directly with a diverse caseload of students, supporting licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering effective therapy services throughout the school year.

Location : Alexandria, VA

Caseload : K-12 students

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in implementing speech and language therapy plans for K-12 students
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations
• Collaborate with educators and therapists to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Prepare therapy materials and support classroom activities as needed
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff to enhance therapeutic outcomes
