Description
Job Functions :
- In general, the duty of the First Officer is to assist the Captain in the performance of all duties relative to the safe and efficient operations of the aircraft
- Assist the Pilot-in-Command in the operation of the aircraft as delegated by the Pilot-in-Command
- Be familiar and comply with FAA regulations, company manuals, flight procedures, operations bulletins, and other instructions pertinent to his / her duties
- Assist the Pilot-in-Command in preparation before departure and after each flight by completing necessary documents and reports associated with flight operations
- Other duties as assigned
Required Job Skills and Certification (One of the three requirements below) :
Unrestricted FAA ATP with multiengine rating and 1,500 total hours including 500 multiengine hoursUnrestricted FAA ATP with multiengine rating and 1,500 total hours as a military pilotFAA ATP written exam completed and passed within the last 12 months and 2000 total hours in a fixed wing aircraft and multiengine commercial rating with 500 hours of multiengine hoursPreferred Job Skills :
Boeing 757 / 767 experience preferred100 hours of flight time within the last 12 months preferredOther General Requirements :
Current FAA first-class medical certificateFCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator PermitHigh school diploma or equivalentSuccessful completion of a DOT pre-employment drug screen and background checkAbility to qualify and maintain a US Government secret clearanceLegal right to work in the United States without sponsorshipValid Passport allowing travel throughout the worldAbility to clearly communicate with co-workers; stand, bend, and reach; sit for extended periods of time; and comply with ATI attendance requirements.Physical Requirements :
