Outpatient Rehab Tech (PRN)

Rehab Tech Opportunity

We have an opening for a Rehab Tech at our Ames location. This individual will support our Outpatient Therapy team by organizing, cleaning, and disinfecting the gyms, classrooms, and other areas we use for therapy sessions. Techs may assist with treatment sessions, both in preparation for the session and during the session.

Schedule + Flexible scheduling between 8am-6pm, Monday - Friday + Students encouraged to apply. We will work around your school schedule.

What You'll Need + High School Diploma or enrollment in a program to obtain a H.S. diploma + One year of experience working in a healthcare setting or with children is preferred. Experience in rehabilitation is a plus + CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification within 6 months of employment + Ability to work independently and be highly organized + Ability to use tact and courtesy when dealing with patients, their families and co-workers + Competency with use of Excel, Word and Outlook + Ability to communicate in English effectively for understanding, in writing and verbally + Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
