Summary

CHS is looking for a Crude Soy Driver to join our team in Mankato! This individual will be delivering product locally from one CHS facility to another for futher processing.

We are looking for someone with a flexible schedule, who is willing to adjust their schedule based on business need. The typical schedule for this role will be Monday- Friday, daytime hours. There may be times throughout the year where schedule could shift to later shifts, weekends, or holidays based on business need.

This role is eligible for a $3,000 sign on bonus. $1500 will be paid after 30 days, and an additional $1500 after 1 year in the role.

Responsibilities

Ensure accurate and on time deliveries to our customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws. To include but not limited to pre-trip and post-trip reporting, proper load securement and hours of service.

Assist in the warehouse when not delivering product.

Work extended hours in-season to meet business demands.

Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions

Assist warehouse staff and perform other duties as needed or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

Class A CDL

2+ years of CDL driving experience

Must meet minimum age requirement

Ability to read, write and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signals

Additional Qualifications

Tanker and Air Brake endorsements

Must meet DOT and Company requirements

Ability to work additional hours and occasional Saturdays to meet business demands

Bulk liquid experience preferred

Ability to lift / carry up to 80 lbs, walk, stand, sit, bend, and kneel

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage / salary requirements under local law.
