You will be serving the community at AdventHealth Polk , known for :

    • In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will :

  • Provide direct and indirect rehabilitation services in acute care, inpatient, and outpatient settings, including patient evaluation, treatment planning, and care implementation.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assist patients in recovering and achieving their functional goals.
  • Supervise and mentor other staff members, such as Physical Therapist Assistants and interns, while fostering an environment of exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure all services comply with local, state, and federal regulations as well as accreditation standards.

  • Documenting patient progress accurately and in a timely manner, following established standards.
  • Engaging with patients and families for optimal education and understanding of treatment plans.

    • Qualifications required for success :

  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy
  • Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Certification (BLS)
