Job Title : Procurement / Purchasing Associate

Location : DTC, CO

Salary : $70,000- $80,000 / year

Industry : Manufacturing

Overview :

Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement / Purchasing Associate to join their team in Denver, CO. This is an onsite role with a business casual dress code. The ideal Buyer will be confident, flexible, and collaborative, with a strong business sense and the ability to separate work from personal dynamics.

Key Responsibilities :

As a Procurement / Purchasing Associate, you will be responsible for the following core functions :

Site Support (30%)

Daily sourcing tasks and tool management

  • Reading and assisting with Power BI dashboards
  • Inventory planning and supplier database management using internal ERP and Power BI

Vendor Sourcing & Communication (30%)

Engage with a wide range of vendors

  • Read, redline, and negotiate contracts with suppliers
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration (20%)

    Participate in S&OP calls weekly

  • Confirm invoice details including tariffs and base costs
  • Analytics & Reporting (20%)

    Manipulate data using PowerBI and Excel

  • Scrutinize purchase orders for accuracy and completeness
  • Qualifications :

    To be successful as a Procurement / Purchasing Associate, candidates must meet the following requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field (retail buying degrees also considered)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a purchasing / procurement role
  • Proficiency in PowerBI dashboards and reporting
  • Strong Excel skills including SumIFs, CountIFs, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP / HLOOKUP, CONCATENATE, IF / ERROR, and text-to-value recognition
  • Experience with ERP systems (IFS preferred)
  • Familiarity with Word and PowerPoint
  • Valid passport for occasional travel between the US and Canada
  • Preferred Skills (Pluses) :

  • Exposure to site / store operations
  • Collaborative operations experience
  • Ability to compare supplier pricing to market indices (e.g., lumber and labor)
  • Culture Fit :
