Job description

Join Hillside Veterinary Associates as a Registered Veterinary Technician!

We're seeking an experienced, confident RVT ready to work at the top of their license. This full-time role blends hands-on surgical and dental responsibilities with exam room and outpatient support. You'll help manage the flow of patients in the exam rooms while taking a lead role in surgical patient care, including :

  • Prepping patients for surgeries and procedures
  • Managing procedure flow and schedules
  • Monitoring anesthesia
  • Assisting in surgery
  • Performing dental cleanings and radiographs

Schedule, benefits and compensation

  • Schedule : full-time, Mon-Fri with rotating Saturdays.
  • Compensation : $20.00-$24.00 per hour worked
  • Flexible FT Scheduling : Monday-Saturday
  • Bonus package : $2,000
  • CE Allowance : up to $1,000

    • Required qualifications and skillset :

  • 3+ years of RVT experience in a clinical setting
  • Current RVT in the state of Louisiana
  • Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring, surgical support, dental procedures, diagnostic imaging, sample collection, and client communication
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking
