PURPOSE : The Talent Acquisition Specialist supports the recruitment and hiring efforts across the organization by managing all aspects of the candidate lifecycle, from job postings and applicant tracking to interview coordination and onboarding preparation. This role works collaboratively with the HR team and department leaders to ensure consistent, equitable, and effective hiring practices that align with Switchpoint’s mission, values, and workforce needs. This role offers the opportunity to grow into a strategic talent partner as our organization expands.

Job Responsibilities :
Assist in the development, standardization, and maintenance of accurate and up-to-date job descriptions for all positions across the organizationCollaborate with managers to ensure job roles reflect current responsibilities, skills, and qualificationsOversee the posting and management of job openings on internal and external platformsEnsure compliance with applicable labor laws and internal equity standards in all job advertisementsMonitor and manage the visibility, status, and relevance of all active job listingsConduct initial screening of applications and resumes to identify qualified candidatesFacilitate communication with applicants throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate experienceSupport hiring managers in coordinating interviews, follow-up steps, and applicant feedbackSchedule and organize interviews in collaboration with hiring teamsAssist with interview logistics, communication, and follow-upsSupport the reference check and offer letter process in accordance with company policiesPrepare offer letters and coordinate pre-employment stepsMaintain accurate recruitment records and applicant data within the ATS and other HR systemsGenerate regular reports on hiring trends, staffing needs, and recruitment activityManage and maintain applicant tracking systems (ATS), ensuring workflows, templates, and automation are optimizedSupport troubleshooting of system issues and provide guidance to hiring managers on using recruitment tools effectivelyRepresent the organization at career fairs, community hiring events, or networking opportunities to attract qualified candidates and promote Switchpoint as an employer of choiceAble and willing to complete other duties as assignedSkills :
Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesHigh attention to detail and organizational skillsFamiliarity with applicant tracking systems (Paylocity preferred)Working knowledge of employment laws related to recruitment and hiringConfidentiality and professionalism in all communicationsEducation & Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred2+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisitionExperience in a non-profit or social service setting is a plusWork Environment & Physical Demands :

Salary range between $38,000 - $45,000 annually
