Travel Nurse Job Details Location : Lorain, Ohio (44053) – Northeast Ohio healthcare jobs Facility : Level 1 OB Unit with 18 LDRP beds, 4 triage beds, and 2 ORs Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Contract Start Date : December 15, 2025 End Date : March 16, 2026 Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12-hour night shifts (scrubs provided) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1,880 - $2,020 Unit Details : 60-65 deliveries / month, 24 / 7 in-house OBGYN and CRNA coverage, ancillary clinical support staff Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license in Ohio or compact state (required for travel nursing jobs) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (must obtain within 6 months of hire) Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience (required) Recent experience in OB, Emergency Department (ED), or critical care nursing (preferred) Ability to work in both Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby units EKG exam required EPIC EHR experience (preferred) Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification (preferred for fetal monitoring interpretation) L&D RN Responsibilities Deliver, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care for laboring mothers and newborns Supervise licensed and unlicensed healthcare staff in patient care delivery Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, develop care plans, and educate patients / families Safely administer medications and clinical interventions Assist with triage, prioritization, stabilization, and emergency management for mothers and newborns Circulate and recover C-sections (scrubbing experience a plus, but not required) Support breastfeeding and provide discharge education Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal maternal and neonatal outcomes Maintain high standards of safety, infection control, and patient privacy Ready to make a difference in maternal and newborn care?
