Job description

Our client is currently seeking a X-Ray Tech :

Location : Mattoon, IL

Schedule : Friday–Sunday | 5 : 30 PM – 6 : 00 AM

Employment Type : Contract | Non-local candidates only (50+ miles from facility)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and compassionate X-Ray / Radiologic Technologist to join our weekend-only team. This role is critical to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced ER and surgical environment. You’ll be part of a trusted healthcare system known for innovation, patient-centered care, and community impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform radiologic procedures with precision, safety, and care
  • Collaborate with ER and surgical teams to support urgent imaging needs
  • Maintain compliance with ARRT, BLS, and Illinois state licensure standards
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and contribute to a culture of excellence

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years of radiology experience
  • Active ARRT certification & BLS (AHA)
  • Valid Illinois Radiologic Technologist license
  • Proven experience in ER and surgical settings
  • Availability for weekend-only shifts (Fri–Sun, 5 : 30 PM–6 : 00 AM)
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
