Job Summary :

Perform unskilled to skilled workers to maintain and repair stormwater pipes and structures and related equipment for the Authority’s stormwater utility.

Responsibilities :

• Inspects, installs, and repairs stormwater pipes, catch basins, ditches, and other systems used in the collection, storage, and transmittal of stormwater runoff
• Inspect stormwater pipes and structures for defects and clogging problems and record finding.
• Inspects, cleans, and mows Macon Levee / Public Detention Ponds
• Locates stormwater structures; maintains cleanliness of stormwater pipes, catch basins, and ditches.
• Drives automotive equipment to job location; places barricades and signals at the worksite.
• Picks up and delivers various materials, equipment and supplies; maintains supply inventories on trucks and shops; assists in loading and unloading items hauled.
• On-call for emergencies.
