Summary
SUMMARY : To provide high quality Arabic Language instruction as an elementary school specialist or classroom teacher of Arabic as a World Language elective in grades K-12, as designated by the school. This position is an Arabic Teaching position. Most students who take this course have some native Arabic skills in language. The position will focus on basic Arabic to high-level Arabic so students can take the AAPL exam for the bilingual seal.

License and Certification Requirements
Proficiency in Somali at the minimum of high-advanced level according to the Minnesota Praxis test for world languages, or the ACTFL Oral and Written Proficiency Interview, or other valid documentation.
Salary
Teacher Salary Schedule – 39 Weeks
Additional Information
Final candidates may be invited to interview with a committee. Final appointment to this position will be contingent upon passing a criminal background check.
