• Shift : 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week\n
• Hours per Week : 36\n
• Contract Duration : 5 weeks (10 / 26 / 2025 – 11 / 30 / 2025)\n
• Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend\n
• EMR System : EPIC\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,880 - $2,020 per week\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience\n
• At least 1 completed travel nursing contract\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or Compact state\n
• BLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications required\n
• Willingness to float to other Medical-Surgical units as needed\n
• Ability to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving)\n
• Submission of work history / resume, skills checklist (within 1 year), license verification, required certifications, and 1 supervisory reference\nMed / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities\n
• Deliver high-quality patient care in Med / Surg Telemetry and float units\n
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress\n
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR system\n
