Job description

AdventHealth is seeking a

dynamic and experienced, board-certified OB GYN physician to serve

as Program Director of our Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at

AdventHealth Tampa.  The Program Director will

have a strong passion for teaching and will develop a state-of-the

art program based at AdventHealth Tampa. The OB GYN residency is

comprised of a total of 3 residents per year. The new

program director would have the responsibility to develop and lead

the program in compliance with ACGME guidelines. Candidate should

be interested in and experienced with a residency program to

enhance program visibility as well as increase the number of

accepted residents each year. Duties would be split between

dedicated administrative time, teaching residents / medical students,

patient care and surgery. A minimum of five years’ experience in

Graduate Medical Education as an Associate Program Director or

Program Director is required for consideration.

The ideal

candidate should bring a vision to increase academic activity

including research, posters, and presentations. Dynamic

communication skills and the ability to fit within the mission and

vision of AdventHealth are required.

This position has the following

requirements : M.D. or

D.O.

Active Florida license (or eligibility

for an active Florida license)

Board

certification through ABOG or AOA

Five years’

faculty experience as a Program Director or an Associate Program

Director

The West Florida

Division Medical Group  continues to grow
