Position Summary

Shift schedule : Monday thru Friday from 7 : 30pm to 4 : 30am. Every other Friday off. This is a full time non-exempt position. Responsible for troubleshooting and repair of clinical and commercial products. Operates electrical and mechanical test equipment. Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Works on assignments where judgment and initiative is required in resolving problems and making recommendations.

Description

Primary Duties

• Performs all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines of bioMerieux's Quality System.
• Follow written work instructions and collect all relevant data.
• Troubleshoots electromechanical problems
• Works with Engineering / Production to implement design and / or process improvements
• Maintains records that comply with regulatory requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Consults with customer service, instrument production, etc. as needed.
• Responsible for maintaining parts and materials in service area.
