Principal Accountabilities
Responding to radio calls from other departments (Production, Food Safety, Safety, etc.) for maintenance related actionsCommunicating with other departments and maintenance shifts to ensure proper pass down of maintenance issues to the next shiftDocumenting daily assigned work on paper and in the maintenance management system (SAP)Troubleshooting and repairing complex problems on all production equipmentUtilizing parts from inventory to repair equipment and following procedures for documenting parts issuedIdentifying problems and providing suggestions to improve operational processesPerforming modifications to enhance equipment performanceContacting equipment vendors to assist with troubleshooting, researching required parts, and requesting quotesUsing hand tools to perform maintenance on production machineryEnsuring food safety, quality, cleanliness, and proper housekeepingAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishAbility to perform basic computer tasksMust be able to perform basic TIG weldingRequired Qualifications
Must be eligible to work in the United Sates without visa sponsorshipMust be 18 years or olderPreferred Qualifications
Refrigeration Engineers & Technicians (RETA) and International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration (IIAR) training and certificationPrevious experience with regulated Process Safety Management (PSM) programsElectrical or mechanical experienceBoiler experienceAir compressor experiencePlease note that this position does not include relocation reimbursement.
