Registered Respiratory Therapist – NICU / PICU (Allied)

Location : Indianapolis, IN

Schedule Type : Travel Contract

Shift : Nights | 4x12-hour shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Contract Length : 13 Weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 36–48 hrs / week (3x12 or 4x12)

Job Description :

Seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment in a high-acuity NICU / PICU / Pediatric environment. The RRT will provide expert respiratory care to neonatal, infant, and pediatric patients in a Level I trauma children’s hospital setting.

Candidates must have hands-on experience with ventilator management, nitric oxide, and advanced airway support . The role requires flexibility to float between the NICU, PICU, and Peds units as needed.

Responsibilities :

Requirements :

Required : BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS

Skills :

Ventilator Management : Servo I, Servo U, Hamilton G5

Respiratory Therapies : CPAP, BiPAP, HFNC, aerosol mask / trach setup, nitric oxide (iNO)

Medication Administration : Albuterol, Atrovent, Pulmicort, Racemic Epinephrine, Xopenex, Mucomyst, Perforomist, Tobramycin

Airway Management : Extubation, suctioning, trach care, oral / nasal airway management

Critical Care Procedures : Interpretation of ABGs, weaning protocols, rapid response
