Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Body Shop Painter, Prepper, and All-Around Technician  to join our team. This multi-skilled role is responsible for prepping vehicles for paint, painting, assisting in body repairs, and supporting general shop operations. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Painting & Preparation :

Prepare vehicles for painting (masking, sanding, taping, priming).

Mix and match paint for accurate color and finish.

Apply paint using spray guns and other equipment following OEM standards.

Inspect painted surfaces for quality and make corrections as needed.

Body Work Assistance :

Assist technicians in minor bodywork repairs (dent removal, filler work, panel alignment).

Disassemble and reassemble vehicle parts as needed for paint or repair.

Support body technicians with part replacement and hardware installation.

General Shop Duties :

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the paint booth and work areas.

Clean tools and equipment after use.

Assist with inventory control of paint and materials.

Follow safety protocols and use PPE appropriately.

Qualifications :

2+ years of experience in auto body prep and paint required.

Knowledge of paint mixing systems and refinishing techniques.

Familiarity with auto body tools and safety practices.

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
