A company is looking for a Director of Communications to manage its communications strategies and media relations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the organization's brand, messaging, and media engagement strategies
Collaborate with various teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with campaign goals
Serve as press secretary and develop relationships with media, tracking coverage and managing press lists
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in nonprofit communications, public relations, or a related field
Knowledge of media relations and placement strategies
Experience with management and project management
Familiarity with policy communications, preferably in reproductive health, rights, or justice
Knowledge of design, digital media, and online engagement strategies
