Job descriptionStrong background in safety within a warehousing or manufacturing environment. Experience in developing and delivering safety training. Degree in Safety or extensive manufacturing safety experience. Proficiency in MS Office Suite. CSP accreditation preferred. Must have metatarsal safety footwear on the first day (not reimbursable). Experience in occupational safety. OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour certification. Additional OSHA training certifications.
Safety Coordinator
Location : Milan, IL
Duration : 12 months with possible extension
We’re seeking a Safety Coordinator to support health and safety programs for our Parts Division. This role involves both office and warehouse work, including safety observations, incident investigations, employee interviews, and training.
Responsibilities :
- Implement and improve processes to reduce workplace hazards
- Conduct incident investigations and ergonomic reviews
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Manage safety audits, risk assessments, and record keeping
- Deliver safety training and presentations
