Job Description

The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the face of the company for patients who visit for routine health needs or critical diagnostic insights. The PSR II is responsible for drawing high-quality blood samples and preparing them for laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures. This role requires frequent patient interaction, maintaining a professional and trusting environment while clearly explaining procedures and performing venipuncture safely, skillfully, and accurately. The PSR II is expected to demonstrate strong leadership behaviors, uphold confidentiality, and ensure exceptional accuracy in patient information.

Assignments may include working in a physician's office, a Patient Service Center, or alternative locations based on business needs.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform daily activities accurately, efficiently, and on time under the supervision of the area supervisor.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
• Confidently conduct both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing following established procedures.
• Verify patient demographic information, including confirming patient initials / signature after venipuncture to ensure tubes are properly labeled in the patient's presence.
• Maintain all required records, documentation, and logs.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, colleagues, and the public.
