Risk Data Aggregation and Risk Reporting (RDA) Associate

Base salary $42k-90k, depending on experience and skills

Located onsite in Manhattan with a foreign bank

What We’re Looking For :

Educational Background : A Bachelor’s Degree is required. A Master’s degree in Financial Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analysis, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or similar fields is highly preferred.

Experience : At least 1 year of data analysis, business analysis, or reporting experience is ideal. Previous experience in system development or project management is a plus, particularly in the financial and banking sectors (Risk Management experience preferred).

Skills :

Strong coding and programming skills (SQL, Python, Java, R, etc.)

Solid experience with data analysis, including working with large datasets and systems.

A good understanding of databases and information systems (SQL Server, data warehousing concepts, etc.)

Familiarity with the financial industry, products, and risk management.

Certifications (Preferred but not required) : CBAP, FRM, PMP, or CFA.

Key Responsibilities :

Data / Business Analysis & Reporting Automation :

Analyze data across our banking databases and systems to support project implementation and identify gaps or issues.

Automate reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Manage and update the data mapping and model of the centralized risk data repository.

Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments (e.g., Front Line Units, Risk Management) to gather their data needs.

Lead the business requirements gathering and document specifications for system enhancements.

Conduct user testing and work with IT teams to resolve issues.

Create user-friendly reports and conduct data analysis based on stakeholder requirements.

RDA Program Management :

Facilitate the RDA Working Group (WG) and assist with gap analysis and evaluations of RDA regulatory requirements.

Monitor and contribute to the successful implementation of RDA compliance actions.

Coordinate responses to RDA-related requests from regulatory bodies and Head Office.
