Job Title : Lab Technician

Job Description

This role is for a Lab Technician who will work Sunday through Thursday on the 3rd shift from 11 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM. The technician will perform various wet chemistry tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products, along with sustainability tests and routine benchtop testing, including titration, viscosity, pH, HPLC, density, microbial testing, and GC. The role requires sample collection from the production floor and effective communication with different departments. The technician will work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform wet chemistry tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Conduct sustainability tests.
• Perform routine benchtop testing, including titration, viscosity, pH, HPLC, density, microbial testing, and GC.
• Collect samples from the production floor for testing.
• Communicate effectively between departments as necessary.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment

The majority of the work will be conducted in the lab, with occasional sample collection from the production floor. The facility is large, requiring approximately 10 minutes to traverse, and a bike may be used for quicker access. The position operates on a Sunday to Thursday schedule during the 3rd shift from 11 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM. Opportunities for advancement within the lab or transfer to other facilities are available due to expansion.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wooster, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $21.53 / hr.
