Job Objective / Summary : The Treatment Nurse is responsible for supervising therapeutic nursing care. Serves as a role model in clinical skills and leadership. Promotes good public relations for the nursing division and Lawrence Hall Nursing Center. Assures standards of care are implemented on unit utilizing nursing process. Supervise and administer direct resident care when necessary. Makes daily rounds to assess resident's status. Monitors daily charting on treatment sheets and summaries. Completes treatments per physician order's. Addresses on Care Plans. Attends monthly staff meetings. Communicates effectively with other departments. Maintains privacy in all resident care. Reports all abuse to administrative office immediately.
Job Education, Licenses / Certifications, Knowledge & Experience : Must be a graduate of an approved state school of nursing and currently licensed as a practical nurse in the state of Arkansas. Must hold a valid and active license in good standing as an LPN / RN in the state of Arkansas. Strong knowledge of nursing principals, practices and procedures. Compassionate, patient-centered approach.
