Our Federal Services Group is seeking a Mid / Senior Civil Structural Engineer to join the team. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design and analysis of critical power plant systems, enhancing both existing and new facilities.

Overview

You will apply cutting-edge engineering principles to deliver innovative solutions, collaborate across teams, and make a direct impact on the future of the power industry. This role can be located in one of the following locations :

Kennesaw, GA (Suburb of Atlanta)
Overland Park, KS
Naperville, IL (Suburb of Chicago)
Fort Worth, TX
Dallas, TX
Aiken, SC
Kennewick, WA

Our team supports our federal clients to solve a wide range of critical engineering problems. Our work covers both nuclear and non-nuclear facilities as well as facility-related infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Design & Analysis Excellence : Design and analysis of changes to existing power plants and new plant systems.

Engineering & Technical Expertise : Perform work requiring application of basic technical principles, theories, standards, and concepts.

Problem Solving & Innovation : Perform site walkdowns to identify design solutions and develop cost-effective problem resolutions.

Project & Design Management : Develop equipment mounting, foundation design, and pipe support calculations and designs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university

Minimum 3 years' with power system design experience for mid level engineer

Minimum 7 years' with power system design experience for senior level engineer

Demonstrated proficiency in preparation of structural calculations is desired

Knowledge of discipline specific computer analysis codes as well as standard office production software

Proficient in Word and Excel

Familiar with the International Building code and building code design

Good writing, presentation, and communication skills

Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Pay Range

USD $78,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 / Yr.
