As a Resident District Manager, you’ll be part of our enduring legacy and exciting growth. Our Resident District Manager directs, manages, and leads all operations for the contract dining at the University with an anticipated managed volume exceeding $10 million. This leader is accountable for financial performance, client engagement, guest experience as well as team member development, labor relations, recruitment, and retention. They will function as a strategic member of the Parkhurst Leadership Team and participate in the formation of long-term planning and priorities for the Parkhurst Higher Education Division.

  • 7+ years of progressive account management experience in contract dining or hospitality.
  • 5+ years of general management level experience at an account with a volume of $10 million or more.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Culinary Science, or related field required.
  • Proven track record of strong client management and retention.
  • Proven experience managing a complex financial portfolio, including unit P&L
  • Proven ability to recruit, train, coach, and develop management and hourly staff to build strong, effective teams.
  • Ability to identify and summarize roadblocks and constraints, propose potential solutions, and drive toward resolution.

  • Pay : $140,000 - $150,000
  • Schedule : Full-time role averaging 50 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends
