Job description

Data Center environment

Schedule : Monday–Friday (10-hour shifts), Saturday (8-hour shift)

Start time : 6 : 00 AM

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain structured cabling systems in hyperscale data centers or commercial environments
  • Perform cable terminations including RJ45 jacks and patch panels
  • Build out racks and cabinets
  • Conduct cable testing and labeling
  • Construct pathways and route cabling
  • Assist with Telecommunication Room build-outs
  • Follow safety and quality standards consistently
  • Work in confined spaces and at heights up to 20 feet using ladders
  • Lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs regularly

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data center or commercial cabling environments
  • Fiber optic cabling experience
  • OSHA 10 certification
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English (bilingual a plus)
  • Familiarity with color-coded wiring and punch-down techniques
  • Comfortable working days, nights, or weekends based on project needs
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity
  • Reliable and punctual attendance

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gainesville, VA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00 / hr.
