About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Hours per Shift : 10 hours (6 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM)

Experience : Minimum of 2 years

License : Registered Nurse License for Circulator role

Certifications : Registered Radiologic Technologist License, Fluoroscopy permit

Must-Have :

Candidates must have Cath Lab Circulating (RN) and Scrub experience.

Rad Tech experience is preferred but not required.

Description :

This position involves working in a Cardiac Cath Lab.

The shift is 10 hours, from 6 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM.

Weekend call typically includes Friday at 3 : 30 PM to Monday at 7 AM.

The unit has 3 Cath / EP / Hybrid / Structural Heart rooms.

There are 3 staff members per room, comprising RNs and Rad Techs.

Patient ratios are 3 patients per case.

Equipment includes GE and Philips labs, Mac Lab / Cardiolab, and EMR - Meditech.

Typical procedures performed include Left / Right heart catheterizations, angioplasty / stenting, IVUS, ICE, and atherectomy.

Atrial Fibrillation Ablations, Micra s ICDs, PM, Lead extractions are also carried out.

Structural Heart procedures include TAVR, TMVR, Tricuspid, and LAAC (Watchman), along with PFO / ASD closures.

Candidates should enjoy working as part of a team and possess an upbeat, positive attitude.

Registered Nurses may assist in the Pre / Post care area known as the Cardiovascular Observation Unit.

The dress code allows for personal scrubs or blue hospital scrubs.

Weekend and on-call requirements include one weekend per month and one night call per week.
